Blog Update - Some summer fun!

Happy Belated 4th of July a month later, lol.  I still have to take better pics of the girls in there really cute outfits.

Sparklers and a video of Nick's fireworks!
Nick's firework video was not being cooperative, so I will try and upload at a later date.

Ryann really didn't want to take pictures that day!

Saturday the 5th we went to the park and they were having a festival, so we were able to get some hot dogs and shaved ice, it was really nice!  The girls had a blast in the splash pad!

Ryann had no fear at all!  This was her first time at the splash pad since she was able to walk!

Up until now Lucille has been petrified of the swings, she never liked them even as a baby.  We had a birthday party over the 4th of July weekend and she out of nowhere became a swinging master!!  So proud of her!

Around the middle of July I actually was pretty sick and got diagnosed with Pneumonia. It was horrible.  I haven't felt that bad ever I don't think.  I was so lucky that my grandma was able to come down for the week and help me with the girls.  They really enjoyed her company.  Just realized that I didn't take any pictures of her visit, but I guess I was sick : )

There were the beautiful flowers that Nick's mom sent me to get well.  I am on the mend now : )

Nick was able to go to the jet boat races that are held here every year on the Savannah River, I felt so bad because he was so excited and it rained, so most of the races were cancelled.  He was able to see a few races I believe.

Ryann is really into feeding herself, so we are working on learning to eat with a spoon.  Can you tell!

Bath Time after this for sure!

My kiddos, they seem so grown up here both sitting together at the table and then again on the couch.  Ryann can get right up on the couch now.

I bet you cant see Lucille!

How to keep Ryann quiet!  Give her a giant Chic Fil A milk shake!

This past weekend we took the girls to a children's museum in Columbia, SC.  Since it was such horrible weather, we wanted to do something.  It was a really neat museum.  EdVenture it is called.

They have this giant kid statue that the kids can climb through his body, it was really packed so Lucy didn't climb through, but we still got a picture of her in front of him.  He is 2 stories high!

Can you see Lucy!

This past week Ryann has had a crazy fever, I ended up taking her to the ER early Tues morning.  She had a 104.3, I had never seen the thermometer get that high.  They checked her for a UTI, luckily she was clear, so she is just battling some viral thing, which hasn't been awesome at all...  Lucille has had a super low grade fever, I have been giving her medicine just to be sure she doesn't get any either.  We need to get healthy, we are headed to my parents for the weekend, we haven't seen them now in over a month and we are having family dinner and hoping to get Lucille in MeMa's pool.  Then Wed my best friend Julie from high school will be here for a week to visit, we are SOOOO excited!!!!!  I am sure we will have plenty of adventures.  Wednesday is also Lucy's first day of Pre-K, she cant wait!!!  It should be a fun year for her.  She will go 4 hours a day, 5 days a week.
