Florida Here We Come!!!! packed to the brim!!!! Lucille got moved to a booster seat and to say she LOVES it is an understatement. We also got her the pillow that attaches to the car seatbelt and it was a great hit!!!
Siesta Key was Nick's grandma Lucille's favorite beach, so it was very special to go there and very easy to understand why she loved it there so much. (My sister Shannon also celebrated her 1st wedding anniversary there and she LOVED it!!!)
The water was so tropical an the sand was so white and felt like you were walking on powered sugar!!!
We didn't have the greatest weather during our week in Florida, but the first day we were there, there was some patches of blue sky and sunshine!

There were a ton of para-sailers too!! There were SOO high!
After the beach we headed back to Grandpa Leroy's and Granny Hazels community and went swimming in there pool!

At the entrance to their community they have a giant pond with a water fountain, they had a swan and turtles. If was fun for the girls!

We loved the beach that the next day we decided to go back and there was no sun or blue sky in sight, it was kinda chilly, but we stayed for 2 hours and did our best to rough it out!
Grandpa's neighbor gave us a shark tooth shovel, so Nick an Lucille were digging for treasure! It was pretty cool!
My camera was on a funky color setting so it looks like everyone got really bad sunburn, LOL!!
We had the best time in Venice, FL and the girls really miss being there!
We hope that we will get the chance to visit again.
